We awake every morning
into creation wonder;
into a world we did not make.
Born into it, born again
we recognize our Father’s world.

Sunday worship orients us,
opens our senses to
earth and sky
animal and bird
male and female;
prepares us to live attentively,
to get in on all there is,
to walk by the Spirit
in the cadence of
God-created rhythms:
evening and morning
worship and work
spirit and flesh.
Alive in this cosmos
we follow Christ, our Lord
by whom it was created
for whom it all exists,
keeping time to
the music in our souls.
