I don’t believe it!
It’s incredible, this love,
hard to imagine even.
I know me!
and the voice I hear
can’t be addressing me, surely not,
for that would be impossible.
I know me well!
A saint? Who are you kidding?
Me? I’m the worst of men,
there’s nothing holy here.
I know me too well!
But,
it’s true beyond measure
this grace of God;
the unlovely loved
the dead in sin called
the sinner made a saint.
I stand now by his grace
in a brand new holy place.
I believe!
I believe!
