Taken From: Luke 15:11-32

Watching, waiting,
saddened to the depth of within,
silent compassion
glazing His eye-tears,
knowing full, full knowing
he will appear –
and then…
a comet-blazing joy-streak across
His heavenly being
run-skipping,
levity robes held high,
revealing outrageous dignity,
to one who is dear.
Quiet…
And in hushed exuberant joy,
robed – sandaled – ringed
Bring him here…
I am FATHER
he is son
saddened to the depth of within,
silent compassion
glazing His eye-tears,
knowing full, full knowing
he will appear –
and then…
a comet-blazing joy-streak across
His heavenly being
run-skipping,
levity robes held high,
revealing outrageous dignity,
to one who is dear.
Quiet…
And in hushed exuberant joy,
robed – sandaled – ringed
Bring him here…
I am FATHER
he is son
